“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” – Matthew 5:9
ATTENTION: Calling all Peacemakers
Are you a peacemaker?
If you are, the world could really use you right about now. We need your skills. We need your demeanor. And most certainly, we need the secret to how you’ve become so familiar with peace that you are able to “make it.” However, to be clear, the need is beyond novice peacemakers. We need experts. Ones that can tame hot tempers and draw together fierce enemies on a variety of topics and issues.
For those considering entering this field, please know it’s not for the faint of heart. It can often be a thankless calling that’s accompanied by threats and a variety of risk. However, if you do choose to rise to this challenge, rest assured that it comes with a high level of job security. The opportunity to exercise your skills at their peak capacity is prevalent. Your services will always be needed. An additional bonus of peacemaking is that you’ll never be alone. You will always be among countless other peacemakers, led by the strongest of leaders, the best and only embodiment of peace.
This Sunday, we will be studying the seventh Beatitude and learning how Jesus has called each of us as His children to be peacemakers led by Him. As you prepare for Sunday, read through as many verses as you can find on peace and answer the question of what peace truly is and what it means to be a peacemaker.
I honestly can’t wait for Sunday. You are not going to want to miss this message!
