February 21-23, 2025

NorthBay Adventure Camp
11 Horseshoe Point Lane
North East, MD 21901

Registration CLOSED

Our Student Retreat is designed for fun, friends, and great memories. But even beyond that, we are able to provide a weekend for the students to be built up as believers, refueled to tackle the rest of their school year for Christ, or possibly hear for the first time what Christ has done for them. The Student Retreat is a highlight for so many of the students and could be that place that helps them turn the corner in their spiritual walk.

This February, students from east coast Great Commission Collective (GCC) Churches will be headed to NorthBay Adventure Camp.

This year’s theme is “Resolved.” Our focus will be in the book of Daniel. During the weekend we will look into God’s Word to show God’s sovereignty and how we need to prioritize Him. For one to handle life situations, we must be resolved to believe that God is true. As difficulties, peer pressure, trials, challenges show up in our lives, the one who is resolved will be able to navigate these situations or seasons of life in a way that honors God and not the world.

This year’s speaker is Pastor Jerry Lingenfelter. Pastor Jerry is known to most people as the Senior Pastor at Mission Church, where he has served in that role for eight years. But there is much more to Pastor Jerry that isn’t always seen or known. He has given his life to Jesus’ mission of making disciples and multiplying churches. Jerry is known for his passion to preach God’s word with the goal of equipping people to “live loved and sent to the glory of God.” Having served in pastoral ministry for twenty-two years, he is engaged in training, coaching and consulting with pastors, churches and networks around the world. Jerry also serves on the board of the Great Commission Collective. He and his wife Robyn have been married for twenty-three years and have four boys Ty, Elijah, Isaiah, and Joshua. For fun Pastor Jerry enjoys watching football, cheering for Penn State and the Pittsburgh Steelers!!

A worship band from Mission Church will be leading our worship time. The Student Retreat is a must-attend event for all students! They won’t want to miss it!
