Curriculum

Mission Kids uses The Gospel Project for Kids as our curriculum for ages 3-Grade 4. The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered, chronological study of the big story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, over a 3-year cycle. This study helps kids dive deep into the big story of the Bible—God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ. It helps kids see how the whole Bible points to Jesus and the Gospel.

Early Childhood: Each Sunday, our preschool kids, ages 3 through kindergarten, hear a Bible story told by a storyteller and participate in activities that expand on the story.

Parents can find information about each week’s lesson by clicking the button “Sunday Resources” found on this page. This gives families the opportunity to review and enrich what kids are learning every Sunday. Each week, kids also receive a take-home paper summarizing the lesson.

Elementary: Each Sunday, our elementary kids in grades 1-4 participate in a large-group time with live worship and a small-group time where they unpack the truths they learn during the large-group time.

4th and 5th Grade: Our older elementary kids use a curriculum called What We Believe. Each week, they explore a foundational principle based on what we believe as a church. Topics include things like prayer, sin, salvation, and scripture.

Safety

Safety is one of our highest priorities here at Mission Kids. Every adult who serves with kids is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our staff.

Check-In

If it’s your first time attending, stop by our Check-In area to register your child. Your child will receive a name tag with a unique number, and you will receive a receipt that matches it. During pickup, kids’ leaders match the number on your receipt to the number on the child’s name tag. If we need to contact you for any reason during the service, we will text your cell number.
