The Circus Track is where you’ll develop your own character clown or learn to master the basics of juggling!
IN THE CIRCUS TRACK YOU WILL:
- Explore the nature of the clown character and learn improvisational skills through fun games.
- Develop your own clown personality through makeup and costume.
- Learn the foundational steps of juggling by practicing patterns as an individual and with partners.
- Be introduced to a variety of juggling props and methods.
- Have the opportunity to perform these new skills at the Camp Rock Showcase on Sunday, July 28!
HERE ARE A FEW THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
- You must have completed grades 2-7 to participate as a clown and grades 4-7 to participate as a juggler track.
- You should wear your Camp Rock T-shirt each evening (you will receive this the first day of camp) and shorts/pants that you can goof around in.
- Clowns will create a costume using supplied materials and items you find at home.
- Props for jugglers and makeup for clowns will be supplied.
- You will be working as a team: so bring your energy, a big smile, and be ready to work together!
