Food Pickup Help
Mission Food Pantry has generously been offered food from various stores and are looking to add to our team of people who can help pick it up. We pick up from Whole Foods on Saturdays (anytime between 5:00-8:00 AM) and Costco on Sundays (anytime between 4:00-10:00 AM). You would be able to use the church van for either of these. We also pick up from the Midwest Food Bank in Middletown every other Friday morning (this is a 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM commitment) and requires the ability to drive a 26 foot Penske truck.
Garden Team
Did you know we have a garden? It has been planted specifically with our food pantry in mind. But we need help weeding & picking the produce as it ripens. This can be done any day of the week or time of day and is a great way to get your kids serving over the summer.
Food Pantry
Our food pantry is always looking for volunteers on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. There are jobs for all ages including packing food boxes, stocking shelves, greeting families, and praying with our guests who come to pick up food each month.
Food Box Deliveries
We have a team of volunteers who deliver food boxes each month to those who can’t get out or lack reliable transportation. This is a great way to involve your family and can be done during the day or in the evening.
