GO Week of Service is designed to spur us on to adorn the gospel through practical acts of love and good works to our neighbors & community. GO Week is part of this year’s theme of Kingdom Advance. We invite you to go with humble ambition by serving on one or more of the following projects:
Week-Long Event
Host a Food Drive
Did you know that some of the cheapest items for you to buy at the grocery store are some of the most expensive & hardest items for Mission Food Pantry to find? We are currently serving over 1000 families each month, so these costs add up quickly! As part of the Week of Service, we are asking every household in our church to consider hosting a food drive at your business, school, gym, etc. or right in your own neighborhood. We will have collection boxes and instructions available in the lobby for you to pick up on Sunday mornings leading up to the Week of Service and display at your organization (just don’t forget to get their permission first!). Food can be collected any time during the year.

Clothing Drive & Distribution

Fill any size bag of gently used clothing for $1. Men’s, women’s, and kids’ clothing available. All proceeds benefit Mission Food Pantry.
Volunteers are needed both the day of the event and to sort clothing the week before.
Clothing donations may be dropped off in the gym during the following times:
- Sunday, May 5 • Place your donations in the marked bins when you come to church!
- Tuesday, May 7 • 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday, May 8 • 10:00 AM – 8:00PM
- Thursday, May 9 • 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This will take place as our regular Wednesday gathering for students in Grades 6-12. No sign-up necessary for students & youth leaders.
We’re looking for parents and other adults who would like to pray with our Food Pantry guests that evening.
