The purpose of this position is to fulfill the mission of Mission Church by providing leadership that promotes the optimal function of the facilities owned and operated by the church; primary focus should be given to leadership, recruitment, motivation, and coordination of individuals and teams of people in the areas of safety, grounds, cleanliness, event setup, cost-efficient maintenance, and management of all property and facility projects.

  • Basic aptitude for trade skills
  • Ability to direct and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and our township
  • Ability to troubleshoot facility-related issues


  • Personal and growing relationship with Jesus
  • Strong understanding of the mission of Mission Church
  • Must be a member of Mission Church or become a member upon employment
  • Must adhere to the Mission Church statement of faith and constitution
  • Maintenance / construction experience
  • Must be able to recruit, train, and manage volunteer teams
  • Must be over 18 years old and have a valid drivers license
  • Must be able to routinely carry, lift, and move at least 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work on ladders, lifts, or scaffolding up to 30’ tall
  • Must be able to drive vans, trucks, tractors, and other moving, maintenance, or groundskeeping equipment
